Writing Assignment #1
I chose this image because it creates multiple moods for me. The first mood i felt from this picture was freedom.I get this sense because of the very open fields behind the teepee and the open horizon over the mountains. Also the glow from the sunset makes the picture feel very calm and comfortable. I like how the teepee cuts off some of the sun and creates that darkness on the left side of the picture. I also like how the teepee is more to the right and not directly in the middle of the image. Overall the image has a very peaceful appeal to the audience which i believe is a very prominent trait of Native American tribes.
